Structure based drug design
Structure-based drug designing is a method employed to design a drug when there is a 3-dimensional structure of a biological drug target (usually a protein) is available as X-ray crystallography or NMR structure.If there is no structure available for a biological drug target, then the following two methods will be employed
1. Homology modelling
2. De-novo modelling(threading)
